
Chef Will Goldfarb
Will Goldfarb is an internationally acclaimed pastry chef. After a decade of travelling the world, including stints at El Bulli, Gerard Mulot, Cibreo, and Tetsuya, he returned to New York. With notable stints at Papillon, Morimoto, and Cru, Mr. Goldfarb rose to fame as the proprietor of Room4Dessert. He was profiled in a six page piece which shared the cover of the New Yorker, written by Heat author, Bill Buford. Mr. Goldfarb was nominated by the James Beard Foundation as The Best Pastry Chef in America. Mr. Goldfarb is currently the owner and operator of Picnick, a sustainable green sandwich concept in The Battery. In addition Mr. Goldfarb owns and operates Willpowder, an online specialty pastry product company.
Together with New York University's Chemistry and Food Studies departments, he founded The Experimental Cuisine Collective, an interdisciplinary network at the nexus of food, science, and social welfare. Mr. Goldfarb is currently developing Willequipped, a selection of hard to find tools for professional chefs and amateurs.
He lives with his wife Maria and daughter Loulou between Jackson Heights, Queens and Bali, Indonesia.
